Blue hour is the period of twilight before sunrise or after sunset when the sky is still illuminated, but the sun is below the horizon. Both times offer unique lighting opportunities for photography, and it's worth experimenting with both to see which works best for your subject and vision.

After our session had been scheduled, sweet Kona was diagnosed with cancer. We pushed our session up to give Kona the best chance of enjoying herself on her special day. She was feeling quite spunky during our session and had a silly good time despite her diagnosis. Go Kona! We hope you kick cancer's ass.
