Choosing your wedding venue
With so many new wedding venues popping up in the midwest, it’s hard to know which to choose. There are 5 major things to consider when picking your wedding venue. I have highlighted them in an effort to ease your wedding planning journey. Happy Planning!
No. 1 Decide what size you’d like your wedding to be
Whether you want to have 2 guests or 200, it’s important to make this decision before booking your wedding venue. You want to be certain that whatever venue you choose can accommodate for your guests.

No. 2 Decide whether you’d like to get married inside or outside
What time of the year are you getting married? Mid July? Maybe you love the outdoor ceremony vibe, but don’t want to melt in the mid summer heat. Maybe you could have a short outdoor ceremony then move things inside for the reception. All things to consider when looking to book a wedding venue!

No. 3 Decide what wedding style speaks to you
Take a Pinterest dive and look into different wedding themes and styles. There are so many to choose from. Here’s a place to start:

No. 4 Begin researching wedding venues in your region (or wherever you are getting married)
Call a few wedding venues and see what dates are available. Be sure to gather information on fees and payment due dates. If you are looking to cut costs, consider having your wedding on a weekday. Examine contracts and decide who you’d like to do business with.

No. 5 Book your wedding venue
Once you’ve gathered all of the information you need, you’re ready to book your venue! Give them a call, secure your date, and GO GET MARRIED!!!
